Portlaw Exhibition a Great Success

Our exhibition in Portlaw was an outstanding success, with a non-stop attendance yesterday from Fair in the Square visitors, and many visitors right through the week.   There have been numerous favourable comments . . . and some people sold work including Tom Grace, Evan Shortiss, Patsy Choi, Francis Quigley and Sean O Brien (well done to you all).  The Fair in the Square committee were quite pleased that we participated.  Over €1,000 was raised for the Solas Centre (Hospice) in Waterford as a result.
Members are encouraged to post photo's taken at the event up on their flickr sites and we also invite members to submitt photos to the club secratary for a slide show at our club meeting & blog.
Congrats and thanks to all the members who partisipated to make it such a success.
