Sean Laffey here from the Cashel Heritage Trust. I enjoyed your exhibition of photographs at the Strand Theatre during the Clancy Brothers Festival. Perhaps you and your members would be interested in a phoptographic  morning we will be running in Cashel on July 18th?

WORLD WIDE PHOTO WALK JULY 18th

Cashel is a Featured Irish Location in the  Largest Global Social Event for Photographers in 2009. It's Fun. It's Free and there's a prize to be won. Join Professional Photographer Stephen Power on the World-Wide Photo-Walk on  Saturday July 18th.

Memebrs  should register on line, you could do it for the camera club amd it's a no cost event (other than maybe 2 Euro in a parking meter). All are welcome, although we'd like to keep the numebrs to the recommended maximum of 50, so we'll get time to share pictures over coffee in Kearney's Castle Hotel  around 1pm.

Invite to Carrick Camera Club Phot Exhibition

An open invite to the public

Carrick Camera Club are holding a photo exhibition in the Strand Theatre, Carrick on Suir from the 11th to the 16th June, in association with the "The Clancy Brothers Festival". The official opening of the exhibition is this Thurday night at 7.30pm in the Strand Theatre and your are welcome to come along.

The opening times are as follows

Thursday 11th June offical opening 7.30pm-8.30pm

Friday 12th            11am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, 7pm-8.30pm
Saturday 13th        11am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, 7pm-8.30pm
Sunday 14th          11am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, 7pm-8.30pm
Monday 15th          11am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, 7pm-8.30pm
Tuesday 16th         11am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, 7pm-8.30pm

Also please note there a number of our members have others photo exhibitions running for the same weekend, Pete Smith exhibition will run in the Nano Nagle Centre, Martina Coady will have an exhibition in the Ormonde Castle, and there will be images and art on exhibition in the Friary.

City & Guilds Photography Exhibition

The annual City and Guilds Photography exhibition's opening night is Monday June 9th at 7:30pm. It is being held at WIT, Atrium, Main Campus, Cork Road. There will be a selection of students work from the year on display. There are images to suit all tastes from commercial, portraiture, landscapes, abstract, architectural among other types of images.

Waterford photographer Shane O'Neill, Aspect Photography, is opening the exhibition. Refreshments will be provided.
